surprise, surprise!

Earlier this summer, my girlfriends decided to surprise our friend Anna in Atlanta, GA!

She had no idea (thanks to some super secret planning) and it was fun to reunite the group again.

Who knew blogging was so hard (and time consuming)?! 

My right hand man (thanks J!) and I are hard at work making improvements and adding fun stuff....so keep checking in!

birthday, bubbles, and Buble

I celebrated my 27th birthday in July with some sparkly jewelry (props to Jake!),  champagne,

and a Michael Buble concert!

I also got to celebrate in New Orleans with my sisters and my 3 favorite brother-in-laws (another post on that later!), and with my friend Jules and her family.  Cheers to another year!

It's hard to believe that just 8 months ago Jake and I bought our first home! 

It was a fun, stressful time, but relatively painless.  I'm glad I had Jake with me--- he likes finance, working with numbers, saving money (but not spending it!).

I'm so excited to enter the blogging world!  I spend countless hours reading and finding new blogs (when I should be doing other things)!

My biggest problem was choosing the name of my blog...ohh the decisions!  If you have met, or heard, my dog- you will know why I chose cheeky poodle!  He was rescued from the traveling carnival, can walk on his back legs, and has a very high pitched bark.  We love our carnival dog!
