I have lots of updating to do.  Let's get started:
- Gray had his 4 month checkup and shots.  He did great and weighs 15 lbs now! 
- He is still rolling over sometimes, but my parents and Jake were able to see him do his "trick" this past weekend!
- Gray was baptized this weekend- yea!
- He is now starting to eat "food" (rice cereal- if that counts as real food).   His reaction to it was so funny!  He's not too sure about it yet, but we'll keep trying.
- He's a great sleeper at night, but his daytime sleeping is still a work in progress.
- He laughs and smiles so much!  It's so cute and it's my mission to catch him laughing on camera.
- Gray loves to ride in the jogging stroller and watch his brother Oliver run around!
- He is teething which means lots of drooling and chewing on everything (he especially loves my hair and necklaces!)
- He can't wait to wear his Halloween costume and spend the night with his Grandpa and Gran while Jake and I go on a quick trip to Canada (I'm going to miss him so much!)

here we are!

I disappeared for a couple of weeks, but I'm back.  I guess I've been busy taking care of that cute baby of mine.  Here's a list of what Gray has been up to:
- rolling from his stomach to his back ( 3 times- we are working on doing it consistently)
- sleeping through the night -thank you, thank you, thank you!
- learning how to put himself to sleep even if the pacifier falls out ( this has been a painful process but I *think* we are making progress)
- putting everything in his mouth
- holding on to his toys
- taking the pacifier out of his mouth and then getting mad when he can't put it back in
 - in general just being adorable

Happy Friday!

Oliver is definitely feeling a bit jealous these days.  He has reverted back to his puppy ways- chewing up toilet paper, digging through the garbage, leaving a trail of trash up the stairs, etc.  I think he's trying to tell us something!  Poor poodle just isn't getting enough attention...

Gray's updates:
- he did wonderful on the trip to San Angelo and slept for most of the road trip
- had his first babysitter while Jake and I went out- grandma and grandpa Eoff!  I don't think he even missed us!
- no longer likes to be swaddled, so he's sleeping without (Houdini Gray always managed to get both of his arms and one time a leg (??) out! )
- is thinking about rolling over, but hasn't decided to yet
- is still not quite sleeping through the night, but fingers crossed he gets there soon
- has decided that he doesn't always like to take his naps during the day...that is very unfortunate for me.

Happy, happy 3 month birthday to little Gray Joseph!  

Gray's grand adventures ( thus far) :
- road trip to Austin where he decided not to sleep the entire two days= very tired Jake and Summer
- his first round of immunizations.  not fun
- disturbing the peace at the eye doctor
- survived a record breaking HOT August
- making an appearance at Jake's office - he was very well behaved!
- going out to various restaurants, shopping trips, and one happy hour (you have a baby...in a bar?)
- welcoming TWO new cousins in August - baby Given Michael Zennadi was born last week in San Francisco!  
Next up- 6.5 hour road trip to San Angelo and his baptism in October!


Now let's celebrate your 3 month birthday by sleeping through the night, okay??!!
