It's hard to stay updated on all the fun new things Gray is doing, so I'll just make a quick list:
1.  claps for himself a whole bunch!
2.  says "hot" and waves his hand 
3.  walking, walking, walking everywhere!  He even tries to walk up and down the stairs (scary)
4.  picks out books and brings them to me to read to him.  But what he really wants is just to turn the pages!
5.  has become somewhat of a pickier eater ( noooooooo..... this is frustrating)
6.  is finally getting his two front teeth in-- he will no longer be my little vampire baby!
7.  likes to wear his flip flops around 
8.  loves to watch Sesame Street
9.  walks into the pantry, picks out his own snack and brings it to me!
10.  gets very excited when "dada" comes home from work!
11. is a pro at waving hello and goodbye
12.  if we ask him how to say "no", he'll shake his head back and forth.  We are trying to teach him to say yes too!
13.  graduated from his first swim lessons!


Gray will be 14 months next week.  Can't believe how big he is getting!!

I've always been a fan of braids.  I remember my big sis, Brooke, french braiding my hair back in the day.  She also taught me how to do my own(thanks B!).  While I haven't worn a french braid in a while- it's not the 90's anymore people!- I'm still loving me some braids. six year anniversary

Once again, I'm behind on my blogging.  Jake and I celebrated our six year wedding anniversary a week ago.  Can't believe it's already been six years- I can still remember that week we spent in Mexico and how fun it was ( and how tan we were! ).

the beach & thirteen months

Wow- I'm behind on blogging!  We've just been busy growing and staying active over here.  Mister Gray is now 13 months old and will not sit still!  He is on the move constantly- crawling and walking!!!  He will walk about 5-6 steps and then realize what he's doing and sit down.  We've also made the switch to whole milk instead of formula, and so far he's done great and doesn't seem to miss the bottle ( although I'm kinda sad not to feed my baby his bottle anymore! ) He's still chattering a lot- says mama, dada, dog, duck, Ollie.  His newest trick is shaking his head no.  And he likes to say no a lot!  
We took Gray on his first beach trip with my parents and sister and her family.  He did really great!  He tried to eat the sand a few times, but quickly realized he didn't like it!  Overall he did really good and we can't wait for another one!
