After being in labor for 15 hours, Gray Joseph Lewis finally made his arrival!  He was born on Tuesday May 31 at 9:10 pm, 7 lbs 1 oz, 19 3/4 inches long.  Here he is:

Michael Kors watch

Yes, that is the sound of time moving by very slowly these days.  We are waiting very impatiently for this kid to get here.  In the meantime, here are some fun pictures I found on a new website called Pinterest .  I'm still trying to figure out how it works, but you can follow me on it here ( i think! ).

to Austin and back

with no baby being born! phew, we made it!
And I'm so happy we did!  I would've been so sad to miss the beautiful wedding of two of our best friends!  They did an amazing job planning their wedding and we were so happy to be a part of it.  Check out some of the pics their photographer took ( AJH Photography ).  Be sure to check out his blog and work- he's really good!

And on that note, I will no longer be taking any pregnant pictures of myself.  Because really...who wants to look at yourself 9 months pregnant??!!

Congratulations to Greg and Katie!

(countdown continues: 18 days till due date)

skills

Sadly, Jake did not get any of his mother's artistic skills. Luckily she is willing to share!  Here are the two pictures she painted for baby L's room:

I named him Leo the Lion.
A few other room updates:
This is the cute fox bin we received as a gift- love it!

I was supposed to post the bathroom pics a long time ago.  Here ya go!

photo update

Here are a few pics I snapped while the family was in town last weekend.
baby shower hostesses- 3 out of the 5 of us are pregnant!

more baby cake pops!

the Lewis' at a wedding.  we coordinated without even planning

the Zennadi's- Omar, Whitney, and baby Z

Jake and I also did our tour of the hospital (maternity section) and bought some last minute things we needed this weekend.  The tour of the hospital was informative, but definitely made me more nervous.  Hopefully the epidural will remedy that!
We are in a wedding in Austin this coming weekend, and then after that, fingers crossed, baby Lewis will decide to make his entrance!  We have had a talk with baby L and informed him he does need to wait until we are back in Houston and close to the hospital and our doctors before he decides to come.  We are positive he's going to be a good boy and listen!

And happy mother's day!  Here's a cute picture of my parents on our NYC Christmas trip:

p.a.r.t.y. time

This weekend should be a good one!
All of my sisters and parents will be in town- which doesn't happen very often these days (unless it's a holiday).  My lovely sisters and friend Felicia are throwing a baby shower for me and we all have a wedding to attend.  Mixed in there will be lots of visiting, hopefully laying by the pool, and eating Tex- Mex (since California is really lacking in that department).  Should be lots of fun and hopefully I can get some good pics!

Here's the whole Eoff clan:
I think I've used this pic before, but just pretend like you've never seen it.
and all the Eoff girls:
what are we doing? what am I saying?

we're advertising umbrellas
Also, my sister Whitney is having a boy, too!  This will put the grandchild count to 4 grandsons and 0 granddaughters.  Funny how a family of all girls will now have all boys!

In other news, I'll be 35 weeks on Friday.  That means 5 more weeks (more or less?!) to go until baby L's big arrival.  Let's just say, the past few weeks haven't been real enjoyable or comfortable and I am ready for this to happen (or I think I am...)!

This picture makes me laugh and think of my friend who grew up in the Middle East.  This one is for you Jules!
